I have not yet had a chance to go through the list that you provided. However, I have three books that I’m eagerly awaiting for their release. The first is a book by an author that you brought to the podcast. book Talk Etc. The book is in titled Perfectly Nice Neighbors by Kea Abdulla. I have read all of her books and love her writing style. The book is set to release next Tuesday on September 12. Next, The Last Devil To Die by Richard Osman is set to release on Tuesday, September 19. It is the fourth book in.The Thursday Murder Club. The third book is The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith. this is also a book in the series. and it is set to release on September 26. The audiobook is 30 hours long. I hope I’m ready for it after reading. The Covenant of Water. I also would like to fit in Happiness Falls by Angie Kalaluhim. I really enjoyed her first novel Miracle Creek.
I love Take It Back too! Her last book Truth Be Told was never available on Audible. I got it when I signed up for.Chirp and I got it for one dollar. and the author called me. I did not recognize the number on my caller ID so I did not answer. She left a message.
She said she was calling because she just learned that I had bought her book through Chirp. Honestly, she called within 15 minutes of my purchase. She just said that she wanted to thank me and discuss her books. She left two phone numbers to call her back. For some reason, I think she’s in Canada. And the book truth be told was not my favorite. But it was good and it had some twists in the book. I’d like it a lot, but not as much as I enjoyed the other two books. It is worth finishing if you ever become curious enough to finish reading it lol.
Totally over the 90+ degree temps in Kansas City.... Ready for some fall weather and sweatshirts :)
The fall releases I am most looking forward to are Happiness Falls (started last night) and The Last Devil to Die - love the Thursday Murder Club series! One Puzzling Afternoon looks really intriguing to me too! I love books with older protagonists.
Wow - what a compilation of lists, Renee! Thank you. Can’t wait to curl up with my coffee and a notepad to write down some fall TBR books from them. My #1 most anticipated fall release is The Vaster Wilds, which I think I preordered in like February 😆 but there are lots that look great after just peeking at the first two lists (Zadie Smith’s in particular - I hadn’t heard really anything about it, but have requested from my library!).

I love hearing about authors reaching out, that's awesome. I may return to it someday:)
The book has its usual twist at the end like with the others.
