I have been having such great luck with backlist. I’m kind of annoyed when my book group wants to read something new! I think I’m about 10 years older than you so late 70s was more my disco era but can definitely relate to being a kid without much supervision and running around.
I really like the quick surprise five star read. The book COUNT THE WAYS was also narrated by the author. She really knew how to set the tone when reading that book. I also meant to mention that when you talk about a book I get a better sense of how you really felt about the book then when I read and print your summary about the book.
I thought I remembered you and someone else saying Count the Ways was good- I’ll probably work my way through more of her backlist, I really loved her writing style. Thanks for the feedback, it’s often easier to talk about how much I loved a book vs write that’s for sure
Love shelf secrets! Love that you switch things up and try new things. This book sounds amazing! It’s on my TBR.
Thanks friend!

Her writing style reminds me of Roxanna Robinson’s riding style. At least that’s how it was in the book that I read.
I loved this one too! I liked this quick review/recommendation! Well-done
