That cover on JUST A LITTLE DINNER reminded me of BRANDY SOUR and sure enough, they are the same publisher, FOUNDRY EDITIONS. They only have 8 titles published to date, all set around the Mediterranean and the covers are all coordinated. What a find @Renee. This has grabbed my attention. Also, none of them are available here in Ireland either so I feel a campaign coming on. I think I'll go down to the library tomorrow and bend a few ears.

Aren't they cool looking covers- all inspired by actual artwork. Very creative. I also bought Brandy Sour after Sara Hildreth recommended it. And then I went on to buy 2 others and preordered one haha. I couldn't resist. I hope your library orders then for you, I feel like you'd like Just a Little Dinner. Also, I'm on a mission to discover and read books we aren't seeing talked about everywhere so I was delighted to find this publisher had several selections

This is exactly what I did too! The covers are all so pretty and I love that they are all Mediterranean based. Plus the spines are numbered so naturally I must collect them all 😁

I am so tempted. I haven't purchased a book in the last 5 years and if I break my book buying sobriety it'll be all your fault. In suppose I can donate them to the library once I've read them and maybe get them circulating.

haha I don't want to be the culprit that breaks your book buying sobriety. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your library comes through for you:)

I’m going to start Untamed. I’m currently reading a book called The Salt Path by Raynor Winn. It is about a couple who get thrown out of their home due to nonpayment. So they set out on a path to walk 630 miles of the southwest coast plain from carrying only their backpacks and essential items. It is a true story and I found it on a list from another person’s list. lol. I chose it because I’m going to read the book called A Marriage at Sea. Now I’m on a binge mode of these types of stories.

I’m so excited about Heart the Lover! I can’t wait to hear your final thoughts. I’ve also loved the Dan Pelzer story. Aside from his book list he sounds like such an interesting person with a huge heart.

Loved learning about Dan Pelzer! I saw Whitehall branch might be putting together a book display in his honor, I love this!

Re: Bachelor in Paradise, I'm not loving the new look and location. I miss the beachy treehouse situation! I am loving the Goldens though!

We finished Untamed last night. They packed a lot into the 6 episodes.

Ok it is kind of funny that this newsletter of miscellaneous lists popped up today. A couple of days ago i was cleaning my travel mug with the tablets that you recommended way back during the BTE “loving lately” days and wondered when you were going to release a list of links. I swear Renee those tablets are the one thing for which i am most grateful of all of your recommendations. Ok so i want to chime in on shows and add that The Thursday Murder Club is coming to Netflix on August 28. I am so excited. My Oxford Years is a book to screen adaptation which is coming August 1 to some streaming service but I can’t remember which. It sounded interesting and could be good. Just learned about Will Leitch author and have two of his books up to read after my current book. Happy Sunday everyone. m
