💬 Friday Thread: Is there a genre, author, or book you’re determined to conquer this year? & What's the last book you loved?
Plus, what are you currently reading?
Hello!
I do want to talk about books and reading, both of which can be a balm, escape, distraction, etc from what’s happening in life, but first I want to say that my heart hurts for those in California dealing with the absolutely devastating wildfires. It’s unimaginable. If you’d like to help but aren’t sure how, here’s an article that provides details and organizations who’re providing aid.
As for reading, while I continue to have my eyes on the great abundance of January new releases, I thought it would be fun to chat about the genre, author, or books we’re determined to finally read this year. It’s possible to keep abreast of the new releases while also making a reading resolution or two that involves those genres, authors, or books we’ve been meaning to read:) And because we all love to hear what books we’ve recently loved, we’ll share those, as well as what we’ve been reading this week or plan on reading this weekend. Personally, my first read of the year was a 5 ⭐️ winner, so I’ve started the year with a bang!

Question Time
The questions I ask in weekly threads are meant to be fun and help us connect, so please know you don’t have to answer each question, if you only have the time/desire to answer one, great! Please put book titles IN ALL CAPS for easy reading:)
