Hello!
Today’s Listed newsletter is quite a doozy. I started researching January new release titles and was blown away by not only how many new books are coming out, but how good so many of them sounded to me. In the spirit of the nonfiction book I just started listening to- All Things Are Too Small by Becca Rothfield - I decided not to try to slim down my list. Why not go with a maximalist type of list for what’s looking to be a maximalist publishing year! My very simple criteria for what books made this final list was if I said to myself “well that sounds good or interesting or thought provoking”…. you get the idea.
This list is not meant to overwhelm you, let’s face it none of us are going to read 80 books in one month (at least I don’t think so haha). Rather, it’s meant to get you excited and in an anticipatory state of mind for all the reading possibilities this month. I hope you use this list as a reference to return to when you’re making your tbr, putting books on hold on your Libby, and/or making a trip to the bookstore or library to treat yourself to a new book. I’ve linked all the books so just click on the title to read the synapsis- and I’ve included cover photos of every book as well.
Happy New Release Browsing!
