I really enjoyed Ellie Black in print and found our interview with the author quite compelling. Her deep, personal insight into trauma itself and the relationship with professionals and supporters surrounding the patient, made this an even more immersive reading experience for me.
Me again, my previous “how to navigate” you your subscribed content , is there a way to read previous posts of just it? I’m less interested in the threads . Your Patreon subscription was very easy to go back to each episode. Thanks, Rose
Hi Rose, yes there is an easier way- if you’re using the app or reading on your phone if you go to my account’s main page you will see the option to click on POSTS- this will allow you to scroll through all of the posts - I’ll link to this below.
If you are reading on a computer or laptop, you can view the entire site at itsbooktalk.substack.com - you should see my home page which looks like a blog and across the top there’s a navigation bar with options to click on subcategories- click on ARCHIVE and you can scroll through all the posts- I will also link to this page directly below. So glad you asked, I know it can be tricky to find things on Substack:)
First of all Happy Anniversary on Substack. 🎉 I’m very intrigued by It all Comes Down to this. And the cover on that one is beautiful. My nightly read is the new James Patterson and it is such a heartwarming book of stories perfect before bedtime. Thank you for all of your hard work and reporting to give us the best reading insight we could ask for. Good luck with your new year ahead!!
Thank you Beatrice! I knew you would enjoy the Secret Lives of Booksellers- don't you just feel like it's a book of close friends? I really love the cover of It All Comes Down to this too- I spotted it at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago, I'm on the hunt for backlist beach reads so that caught my eye

Happy 1 year anniversary! I agree with Katie, you are the link queen and I love it!
❤️
Yay! Congrats on your Substackaversary!(??? I might/might not have just made that up, but it feels appropriately festive, I think!)
Very festive - and catchy!!
Happy anniversary!!!!! And ouch about Ellie Black, I wanted to read it but I hate it when everything starts exciting and I end up losing interest :/
I very well may be an outlier on Ellie Black because all of the other people I've talked to have loved it. You should still give it a try:)
