Itsbooktalk & More is the type of newsletter I’d love to receive in my inbox. Weekly posts are packed with curated recommendations, book reviews, links I love, & ideas, tips and advice on our reading lives. There is also a weekly thread to help readers connect with each other. The more book talk the merrier! I also love a list, so you’ll find a variety of book and reading related lists, from the general to the niche.

Free subscribers have access to

  • 2-4 public newsletters a month. Those may include a mix of The Reading Lounge, Weekly Updates, New Releases, Friday Threads & More

  • My Notes - quick book recs, thoughts, quotes, and other content I share via Notes

About Me

I live in Columbus, Ohio with my husband, dog and cat. I’m a mom of two grown sons and I’ve been talking about books and reading on the internet since 2016. I truly love talking about books; I was a creator and co-host of the Book talk, Etc podcast for 3 years. I love to research books, go to the movies, walk, bike ride, and spend time at the lake with friends and family. I also enjoy a cold glass of Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio while reading in my favorite chair with my cat on my lap:) I read widely, but especially enjoy mysteries/thrillers, literary fiction, nonfiction & memoir, contemporary and historical fiction. My favorite book of all time is A Little Life by Hanya Yanigahara.
