I LOVE Love Is Blind! It is the ultimate potato chop show and for this reason I won't start watching until the entire season is available so I can binge it like the glutton I am! I am dying to read the new Claire Lombardo. I loved The Most Fun We Ever Had and have been waiting for a new novel for years! Definitely one of my most anticipated 2024 releases.
I admire your patience! I’m basically waiting in front of my tv for the next episodes to drop tomorrow 🤣 come back and chat with me after you’re done with your binge:)
The weekend edition is great! Love the suggestions and links to the world of entertainment outside of books (as well as inside). You and Tara are making me want to watch Love is Blind 🤭
YES to this Weekend Edition post, Renee! I love this!
I am still dying to read Leaving and as soon as I finish our BTE read for February (Come and Get It) I'll pick it up! Also, thanks to your recommendation/encouragement, I started season six of Love is Blind for my treadmill run this morning and I DIDN'T WANT TO STOP which is definitely saying a lot about my excitement for this season of the show! I'm with you - this is already SOO much better than season five (snooze) and I'm excited to see where these couples are headed - yikes!
Thanks Tara, and I'm anxiously waiting on the next episodes of Love is Blind to drop Wednesday, I feel like those first episodes were just the warm up for the drama:)
I am SO grateful you linked to that 2014 list because it led me into the 2013 and 2012 lists too! I’m looking for tons of great backlist for my listening pleasure and these lists are PERFECT :-)
I love this Weekend Edition and the variety of topics. I have The Guest on my shelf also! I’m glad you got away to Mexico. How nice to sit in the sunshine! Did you go to a resort or do an AIRBNB?
I went through this newsletter fairly quickly, and can’t imagine how that had i taken my time how many books i would have added to my TBR. The Guest definitely made it and This Disaster Loves You also made it. I am glad that you shared that backless books from 2014. I really appreciate backless because I can usually get those books for free. you offered a great selection of links and that is nice to see. I would like to see more podcast links or recommendations for obvious reasons. TV is not my thing. But I’m glad that you offer up TB or Netflix series links because I pass them along to my husband.
Thanks Kathy, other than books, what type of podcast recs are you looking for? I typically listen to motivational or smart people teaching me something but because of audiobooks I don't get to listen to as many podcasts as I'd like. I'm always happy to search out interesting options though so let me know what you're looking for:)
You will not be surprised as an aquarium that I would probably be interested in the same podcast that you listen to i. e. Motivational, educational and psychology. As for podcast, I tried to keep them to a minimum. I hate spending an hour or so listening to a book podcast in which books that I’m not interested in reading are discussed or recommended. My genre is limited to literary fiction and mystery Suspense or thriller. So occasionally, I do try to discover new book podcast but the way I look at it I could be spending an hour, listening to an audiobook instead of learning about a book that does not interest me. I get enough book read recommendations from your podcast and your news letter through the stacks and also the free newsletter from Sara. I do like true crime. That fascinates me. Appreciate you researching that and including it in your newsletter. and of course I’ve been to anything as astrology if you find any links on that.
appreciate the info into your likes, I will definitely have future recs for motivational, educational, psychology- and I'll keep an eye out for astrology

Thank you for the feedback Susan! It was so wonderful to feel warm sun again- we stayed at a resort.
