The Reading Lounge : Arm Chair Travel Must Reads
29 books to take you to 11 different destinations- all from the comfort of your favorite reading spot
Hi Friends!
I’ve been in a very particular reading mood this summer- I wanted to travel the world without leaving my own patio or comfy couch. One of the most amazing things books can do - and we know there are many- is take us to places and settings in the world that we may never get to travel to otherwise. We get to be literary travelers and our potential destinations are truly endless. I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite places to travel on the page, some I’ve actually been to (NYC) and some remain on my dream places to travel to list (Italy). I’ve read and enjoyed all of these books and have tried to include a variety for you to browse, depending on where you’re in the mood to literarily travel to. I’ve noted specific genres if the book fell into one particular type more than others

Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue
The Force by Don Winslow (Thriller)
Notes From A Young Black Chef by Kwame Onwuachi (Memoir)
