Shelf Talkers #2: What books are booksellers recommending?

Welcome to the second issue of Shelf Talkers, a regular series of book recommendations straight from the experts- booksellers! Shelf talkers are small (often handwritten) signs in front of books used to grab our attention and tell us why we need to buy that book. The best shelf talkers are written by booksellers and, in just a few words, let us know what kind of book it is, why they loved it, and who would love this type of book. And I can never, ever, resist a shelf talker. For this issue, I scoured bookstores in the US and the United Kingdom to bring you an interesting mix of 4 books to (hopefully) add to your TBR.

I’ve also linked to each bookstore so you can browse each store and find even more recommendations from their booksellers. One of the best things (for me and I hope you) about this series is coming across new book recommendation sources. In researching today’s issue I discovered that the owner of one of the stores had a favorites book list of so many books I also loved, which means I now have a new book twin and source for recommendations. You never know where a shelf talker will lead you. If you’d like access to today’s issue as well as issue #1 in which I talk more in depth about how and why I created this series, upgrade to paid today.
